Christmas at School

5 Jan

We were very festive at school this year. For instance, here is my BFF one Friday before the holidays:

and her teammate

and the whole team:

Crazy ladies! There is a water bottle inside their hair with their hair sprayed up around it. They are crazy. The next Friday, the teacher on the end wore her hair like a menorah with a shirt on that said, ‘got latkes’. She is so fun!

We traditionally have pajama day on our last day before the break. Here is Missy Mack all ready for the day:

Here is the calmest kindergarten holiday party I have ever attended:

There were stations: holiday books with a guest reader, holiday bingo, cookie decorating, stuffing socks with goodies for the homeless and ornament making out of some cinnamon dough concoction (the last two not pictured).

It was quiet and calm in the room, yet they children were smiling, participating and having fun. I was weirded out by the whole thing.

I also purchased this app on my phone called learn how to draw to help with Missy Mack with her fine motor skills, which are lacking. I highly recommend this app. She has been having so much fun with it and getting better. Day by day. Here is her cat:

See? We need help. Since learning this information, Santa will be bringing lots of crafty items to help with focus, concentration and fine motor skills.

I love the cat! So cute.

Love that the teachers are so much fun at your school. I can totally see the cat in that picture!
