My face is a mess. I look like a teenager. I keep breaking out and then I can’t leave it alone and I pick at my face all day. It looks awful. My skin is oily for the first time ever. I have never had this problem. I mean, I break out every once in a while but I have been blessed with good skin. Until now. I am so frustrated. I don’t have the money to buy some great facial products. I wish I did!
A friend sent me this recipe that she uses.
A teaspoon of sugar in the palm of your hand.
Squeeze a half of a lemon over the sugar. Rub together in the palm of your hands until you make a paste.
In a circular motion gently rub the mixture on your face. Avoid your eyes!
Rinse with warm, not hot water.
Here is the bonus: if you get it in your mouth accidentally, it tastes good.
While I was admiring how wonderful this felt, I looked at that lemon half on the counter and noticed the toothpaste stains I have been struggling with and a thought occurred to me, what if…
I took the lemon and began to scrub the bathroom counter with that lemon. Magic began to happen. The toothpaste was easily coming off and the counter tops were super shiny and the bathroom smelled great.
That is my tip for the week. Lemon+Sugar= Magic for your face, your bathroom and your wallet.
